WHERE OUR TEAK COMES FROM

One species. Three farms. One origin.

Teak Hardwoods Unlimited comprises three responsibly managed teak farms in Panama's Darién Province. Founded by business leaders with more than 30 years of experience in the region, the company is committed to sustainability, integrity, and transparency.

The farms are managed with support from a Panamanian forestry and reforestation company established in 1994. Through responsible thinning, pruning, and long-term forest management, each tree is carefully cultivated for quality and sustainability.

Once harvested, the teak remains in Panama — milled by Teak Craft Solutions close to where it grew.

SILVICULTURE

Managed for clear, high-quality timber.

Pruning through the early years keeps the first six meters of trunk free of knots: the premium sections of the log.

First pruning in year one · to three meters by year two · to six meters by years three–five · thinning the smaller trees gives the strongest trees more room to grow.

SELECTIVE THINNING
